My golden retreiver will not allow other dogs to come near me (except my other golden) in the dog park and outside. I can not even go up to them anymore! I try time outs, but it is very hard to get her attention and the other dogs’ owners freak out thinking that she will hurt their dog. Any ideas?

Since I am a dog lover and hate to see a dog being kept in a cage. I offered to buy her from them. They agreed. They do not know what type of dog it is. Has a shot record, but nothing says what type.

It’s very small and have long straight hair. The size of the TACO BELL DOG (I can not spell it). Will the vet be able to tell me, what kind it is? Or do I have to go to a humane society or something like that?

My dog is a little bit fearful and excitable. When we visit the dog park, she seems to have some fun (plays and runs with some dogs), but she also seems a little bit nervous and unsure around other dogs. She always shakes it off (like when she’s wet) after we exit the gates to leave. Should I keep taking her and hope she overcomes her shyness, or am I doing more harm than good?

My little dog gets the hiccups a few times a week. My other dog never gets them, and I have never had a dog that has gotten them. Is it normal for a dog to get hiccups?
I knew it was common for a puppy to get the hiccups. My Simon is three now and still gets them a lot. I just think it is strange. It is cute when he gets them, he gets all scaird and comes cuddle up with me. I usually pat him on the back or rub his belly till they go away thanks for the answers.
